Title: Plastic Injection Tool Designer

Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in plastic injection tool design

Pay Structure: 25,000 to 45,000 per month based on experience

Education: Background: BE / Diploma / GTTC / NTTF / PDTD / PDPMD

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop plastic injection molds for various automotive parts, focusing on outsourced projects.

* Conduct thorough reviews of tool designs to ensure manufacturability, efficiency, and adherence to specifications.

* Perform and interpret mold flow analyses to optimize part quality and mold performance.

* Determine optimal gate locations and designs for efficient material flow and part integrity.

* Analyze and account for material shrinkage during the design phase to achieve precise part dimensions.

* Select appropriate core cavity steel based on part requirements, material, and desired hardness.

* Choose suitable mold base steel for durability and performance.

* Possess in-depth knowledge of potential effects and defects specific to automobile injection molded parts and design solutions to mitigate them.

* Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless tool development and production.

* Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in either Creo or Catia. (Experience with UG or NX is not required for this position)
